Overview
A collaborative project designing and building a radio‑controlled boat for a speed competition. The focus was on hydrodynamics, weight distribution and aesthetic expression in a small racing hull.
Key Contributions
- Concept development and CAD modelling of the hull and superstructure.
- Fabrication of the boat, including hull lamination and propeller assembly.
- Testing and iterative refinement to optimise speed and stability.
Outcome
The final RC boat competed successfully, demonstrating improved stability and speed. The project deepened my understanding of marine design and collaborative prototyping.
